Students and Staff through the school district had fun showing off their costumes for Halloween. Some schools carved pumpkins while others learned about the anatomy of spiders!

On October 7, 2019, The Board Trustees paid a visit to Cheslakees Elementary School. The students showed them what they have been learning.

September 30 was Orange Shirt Day. The students and staff of SD85 honoured the Indigenous children who were sent away to residential schools in Canada by learning about the history of those schools, having discussions about it, decorating their own orange shirts and sharing the book, The Orange Shirt by Phyllis Webstad.
