The operating budget year starts on July 1 and ends on the following June 30. The Board of Education approves two budgets each year. The Annual Budget is approved prior to June 30 for the following fiscal year and is based on projections for enrollment, staffing, funding and other budgets. The Amended Annual Budget is approved by February 28 for the current fiscal year and is based on actual enrollment, staffing, funding and costs.
The Board continues to welcome your suggestions on ways that the school district can operate more efficiently. The Board of Education invites input on the Draft Budget until April 30 and on the Amended Budget until November 30.
