The First Nations library is also housed within the District Resource Centre.  All School District 85 staff are welcome to visit and see what we have.  Many new items are being purchased for the FN library.  Watch for info messages from both FN Prinicpal's office and the Resource Centre.

There were several additions to the elementary French section this year with more to come.
We added a Bonhome Carnival kit, Club Mystere for Grade 7/Intermediate level French and a number of DVD about France/Paris and French films.

New items are on display at the Resource Centre. Please make time to come and visit us when you can.

If you would like help finding materials in the Resource Centre, please contact me.

The Resource Centre currently has materials which staff are welcome to take - FREE. Some of these are older items weeded from the RC or left by retiring teachers.  Come have a look when you get time. More things being added all the time.

With the addresses of all school libraries below here, staff can search ANY of the school libraries for materials.  The courier system can be used to acquire items from other schools.  Permission to borrow must be obtained from the  school librarian.
Please note that the computer at the school must be up and running for the search site to work.

Below is a list of the internet search sites for all schools in the district.  AS LONG AS THE MAIN COMPUTER IS TURNED ON, these libraries can be searched from your home computer.  Most main computers are turned on during the school day.

If parents would like to borrow materials, please contact the school's Teacher/Librarian.
